HOW THE PARTNERSHIP WORKS

TWO COMPANIES. ONE TEAM. ZERO GAPS.

Most homeowners, realtors, and property managers dealing with water or fire damage run into the same problem. The company that handles the mitigation is not the same company that puts everything back together. That gap is where jobs stall for months, communication breaks down, and costs go sideways.

Precision Reconstruction handles the mitigation and insurance side. Durabuild handles demo and put-back as the licensed general contractor. Both companies coordinate from the first call so there is never a restart between phases.

A NOTE ON INSURANCE CLAIMS

YOU MAY NOT NEED TO FILE A CLAIM

Not every situation requires an insurance claim. Depending on the scope, filing may cost more in long-term premium increases than handling the repair directly. Most restoration companies will not tell you that. Before anything gets filed, Heath and Steven assess the damage together and give you a straight answer. If a direct repair makes more sense, that is what they will tell you.

QUESTIONS TO ASK ANY RESTORATION COMPANY

✓ Are you a licensed general contractor or a mitigation company?
✓ Who handles demo and reconstruction? Can I verify their license?
✓ Do I actually need to file a claim, or can this be repaired directly?
✓ Will the same point of contact be on the job through both phases?
✓ What is the realistic timeline from mitigation to finished reconstruction?
✓ Can you show me completed put-back work, not just demo photos?

COMMON QUESTIONS
FAQ

What does Precision Reconstruction handle versus what Durabuild handles?
Precision Reconstruction handles mitigation and insurance: water extraction, emergency dry-out, structural drying, fire and smoke remediation, mold removal, and all insurance documentation. Durabuild handles demo and put-back as the licensed general contractor: demolition, framing, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, tile, and full room reconstruction. Both companies coordinate from the first call so there is no gap between phases.

Who is this for?
Homeowners dealing with water, fire, smoke, or mold damage. Realtors who have listings with undisclosed damage or post-inspection repair needs. Investors and flippers who need fast, coordinated mitigation and reconstruction on a turnaround property. Property managers who need a reliable restoration and rebuild vendor they can call once and trust to handle both sides of the job.

How does this work with my insurance company?
Precision Reconstruction handles the documentation and communicates directly with your adjuster throughout the mitigation phase. Heath reviews the scope alongside them so Durabuild is ready to start reconstruction the moment mitigation clears. If the claim runs into complications, you have two experienced parties working on your behalf instead of starting over with a new contractor who has never seen the job.

Do I even need to file a claim?
Not always. Depending on the scope of the damage, filing a claim may cost more in long-term premium increases than handling the repair directly. Heath and Steven will assess the situation together and give you a straight answer before anything gets filed. If a direct repair makes more financial sense, that is what they will tell you.

How do I know the contractor handling my put-back is actually licensed?
Durabuild Construction is a registered Idaho General Contractor with a BuildZoom score of 95, placing Heath in the top 22% of contractors statewide. You can verify that registration directly at the Idaho Bureau of Occupational Licenses or through BuildZoom. If you are comparing options, always ask any contractor for their Idaho registration number before work begins. Some companies in this market advertise reconstruction services without a verifiable general contractor license on record.

Do I have to restore everything exactly the way it was?
No. Pre-loss condition is what insurance covers and what Precision documents for the claim. But once the rebuild begins, Durabuild can work with you on upgrades or changes if you want to improve on what was there. A lot of homeowners use a water damage situation as an opportunity to redo a bathroom floor or update kitchen finishes they have been putting off. Because Durabuild is already on the job, there is no second mobilization cost and no separate bid process.

Who do I call first?
Call or text (888) 498-4858. That line reaches the partnership directly for active emergencies.
